Aquadron plant functions

INNOWATECH AQUADRON® plants

INNOWATECH GmbH produces fully automated systems for the production of INNOWATECH Anolyte® under the registered trademark Aquadron®, which is used directly at the production site for a wide variety of applications in (drinking) water treatment, germ reduction, and disinfection.

The technological basis of INNOWATECH Aquadron® systems is membrane cell electrolysis (according to DIN EN 17818, DVGW Worksheet W 229). After several years of development work in the in-house research department, various electrolysis cells are now available for a wide variety of applications. Depending on requirements, the production of different active ingredient concentrations and production quantities is possible. INNOWATECH uses only high-quality materials and production processes for the electrolysis cells.

This ensures a long operating life for the electrolysis cells and Aquadron systems. Since no material degradation occurs within the electrolysis cells, an unlimited operating life can be expected. The membrane, which is made of a special ceramic material and separates the anode and cathode within the cells, is also not subject to material wear. Due to the small pore size, which is important and necessary for the selection of the flowing ions, the highest possible purity of the starting substances must be ensured. Therefore, the starting water used to produce anolyte is first treated as best as possible within the Aquadron® systems and freed from contaminants, foreign substances, and hardness-forming substances. To ensure high purity, the use of a high-purity salt in accordance with DIN EN 14805 and DIN EN 16370 is also necessary. Such salts are offered nationally and internationally by various manufacturers and can be purchased directly by the operators of the Aquadron systems. INNOWATECH GmbH has compiled a list of various manufacturers, salts and their specifications and regularly expands this list after testing new products.

Generally, volume-proportional or measurement-controlled anolyte injection systems are available. Depending on the water volume to be treated, intelligent diaphragm pumps with different performance levels are used. Various aids, such as short pulse intervals on the contact water meter, precise implants, and, if necessary, additional mixing elements, support a fine mixing of anolyte and drinking water.Use biocides carefully.
